Celebrated musician Colonel Mustafa has appealed to Kenyans for financial aid to help with his mother's cancer treatment.

Speaking during an interview with the Gold Mine show, Mustafa estimated that Ksh1 million to Ksh1.5 million was needed for his mom's treatment.

"Tuko sehemu mzuri tumebakisha lets say tukiipata 1 million ama 1.5 million hivi I think tutamaliizana na hio story mama atapata kutibiwa. After hapo sasa kama ni mziki itanisimamia ama ni kazi mtanipea ntaezana nayo," he stated.

Another appeal

This is the second time the 'lenga stress' hitmaker is appealing for financial help.

He had received a total contribution of Ksh600,00 from Kenyans and Ksh1 million from Jaguar and his close friends.

At the time, he gave a breakdown of how he was going to spend the money after helping with his mother's medical bill.

"Nitajaribu sana kummalizia kibanda yake, nyumba ambayo anaishi haiko fiti nitamsaidia juu chini kumfurahisha. Her dream is to go to Mecca," he stated.

The artiste made headlines after a video of him working at a construction site commonly known as 'Mjengo' elicited reactions with fans wondering how his life took a sudden turn.
