The government agency also highlighted that their Whatsapp number will be accessible throughout the day.

Launched in 2013 by former President Uhuru Kenyatta, the agency is a 2030 flagship project aims at transforming public service delivery to be more efficient and reliable.

It offers services including issuance of driver's licences, National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) registration, National Social Security Fund (NSSF) registration, and registration of national identity cards.

Other services offered include registration of welfare groups, issuance of police abstracts, and registration of single business permits among others.

Earlier, Huduma Kenya signed a Memoranda of Understanding with the Kenya School of Government for efficient service delivery.

The two entities have jointly developed a Customer Service Excellence for training programmes focused on service excellence.

The agreement was signed by Ag. Director General, Prof Nura Mohamed and Huduma Kenya Ag. CEO, Mugambi Njeru in an event presided over by Principal Secretary for State Department for Public Service, Amos Gathecha at the Kenya School of Government.

“Citizens must be treated with dignity and integrity. They want to receive service where they do not have to queue; service on the spot; a customer service quality that best describes Huduma Kenya,

"It is this quality that inspired the development of the Customer Service Excellence (CSE) Training Framework to enable replication of the programme in the whole of Public Service," Gathecha said.
