Mombasa residents on Tuesday, November 19, shocked County Assembly clerk, Salim Juma, when they presented human faeces as a “gift” to him.

The human waste was well-wrapped in a box and addressed to the clerk.

The residents were protesting lack of enough toilets in public places and slums in Mombasa.

The shocking gesture comes as the world marks the 2019 World Toilet Day.
