Top singer kicked out of house over Ksh31, 000 rent arrears

Top Tanzanian musician, Ruby, has been kicked out of her Mbezi Salasala home in Dar es Salaam over Tsh700, 000 (Ksh31, 000) rent arrears.

Confirming the incident to Global Publishers, Ruby said her baby daddy, whom she stayed with in the house, had refused to settle the rent dues, resulting in her being thrown out of the house.

Ruby, who, in March 2019, gave birth to a baby boy sired by her boyfriend Kusah, is reportedly putting up at her friend’s place.

She also alleges that she is a victim of domestic abuse, and that she has ended her relationship with Kusah, who accused her of cheating on him with compatriots Jux and Diamond Platnumz.

Ruby is famous for the song Niwaze, which she featured Tanzanian music group, Tha Mafik.
