Despite their recent public drama with his wife Sara Kabu, Bonfire Adventures CEO Simon Kabu has maintained his cool and is seemingly ‘taking the high road’.
The businessman has posted a photo of him and the usual two kids plus an elderly daughter then captioned it as 'The Kabus cubs' as he always does when referring to his kids.
Kabu had spoken about his other 24-year-old daughter after an ‘open and honest’ Q&A session on his Instagram insisting that Sara knows her and that he has never hidden that from her. And this could be her.
Sara and Kabu were early this week back on headlines after reports emerged that Sarah was hinting at a possible separation from her husband.
According to media reports, the mother of two, in a series of statements on her leaked WhatsApp status posts, claims that her kids were being forcefully taken away from her by her husband.
In one of the posts, which seems to be referring to her husband, Sarah says she is ‘done and dusted with him’ and thus the decision to take off with their children; a boy and a girl.
“To all the police out there, never receive a bribe at the expense of a child losing their mother. Very very heartbreaking. You will pay with the tears of that child in the hands of strangers. The law knows why children should be with their mother.
“For those who may not understand am done and dusted with him and thus why he took off with my kids under the care of one of his b*stards,” Sara wrote in part.
In the posts, Sarah insinuated that the police had been involved in the matter and the kids handed over to their dad after money was offered for the same.
She pleaded for help, stating that she has been forced into a toxic marriage to depict a perfect relationship and to protect their business.
“Wah. This is Kenya! Again money has changed hands and my kids have been handed over to strangers plus their father.
While responding to the claims, Simon admitted that no marriage is perfect but noted they are still together.
