United States of America President Donald Trump now claims the votes he won in the November 3 presidential election “disappeared magically” overnight.

This comes on the back of reports by the Associated Press that Trump, a Republican presidential candidate, is trailing Democratic Party candidate, Joe Biden, in the race for White House.

The AP projects that Biden has thus far garnered 238 Electoral Votes against Trump’s 213. The winner needs at least 270 Electoral Votes to be declared winner of the presidential race.

Taking to his Twitter page Wednesday, November 4, the incumbent stated he could not understand how his early lead was toppled in a matter of hours.

“Last night I was leading, often solidly, in many key States, in almost all instances Democrat run & controlled. Then, one by one, they started to magically disappear as surprise ballot dumps were counted. VERY STRANGE, and the ‘pollsters’ got it completely & historically wrong!” said Trump on Twitter.

He added: "How come every time they count Mail-In ballot dumps they are so devastating in their percentage and power of destruction?"
