A man suspected to be the owner of the house that had bhang worth Ksh1 million on Friday, July 8. surrendered to the police.
The man identified as Michael Kibet Kipchumba is said to have confessed that he was a tenant at the house that had marijuana growing.
This comes after police in Uasin Gishu launched a hunt for the suspect who according to them had grown 21 cannabis plants in the main bedroom and 68 in the sitting room.

The officers also found 14 plants in the dining and 26 others in an adjacent iron sheet walled house, which they uprooted.
Assorted personal documents were also recovered during the operation.
"All the plants were uprooted after having been documented by DCI Scenes of Crime personnel," NPS said.

Following his confession at Nakuru's central precinct, he was immediately arraigned in court.
He appeared before Eldoret Resident Magistrate Nancy Barasa.
Investigating officer Kennedy Odhiambo asked the court to allow him to detain the suspect for seven days to allow investigations adding that the bhang recovered was yet recovered.
Police however told the court heard that the suspect did not have a fixed home since he had indicated that he was living in Ngong in Kajiado county but had another rental house in Eldoret.
This according to the police, would make it problematic for them to track him should he be released on bond.
