The body of killer cop Caroline Kangogo was on Friday morning taken to Iten Referral Hospital mortuary in Elgeyo Marakwet County.
The body was taken to the morgue by a police van that carried her from her home in Keiyo where she allegedly committed murder.
As the body arrived at the morgue it attracted a huge crowd as people watched the body was being pushed into the morgue.
Kangogo, on Thursday allegedly walked into the compound of her father and walked into the bathroom where she shot herself on the head.
The murder was confirmed by Rift Valley Regional Commissioner George Natembeya.
In a photo seen by this reporter, Kangogo is seen seated in a pool of blood inside a thin room wearing a yellow jumper and black trousers.
From the photo, her shoes appear muddy and her right hand is holding a pistol.
This comes at a time when veteran lawyer John Khaminwa had already said that he was willing to represent Kangogo in court.
Khaminwa said that he would also ensure that once she surrenders she will not be arrested and put to any police station.
The deceased was wanted by the police after she murdered a colleague at Kasarani Police lines in Nakuru John Ogweno before she killed another man Peter Ndwiga in Kimbo, Kiambu County.
The body of Ndwiga was found to have a bullet wound on the head and one spent cartilage inside a hotel room.
