One of the Westgate Mall terror attack suspects who was on Wednesday acquitted by a Nairobi court has been reported missing.

Liban Omar Abdullahi, who was acquitted after seven years of trial, is said to have been abducted on Wednesday, October 7, moments just after leaving the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU) offices in Nairobi.

ATPU detectives, however, said they were not aware of the report.

Abdullahi family had rented a taxi to take him to their Eastleigh home after he was acquired but he was abducted shortly after his release.
