Content creator and rapper Diana Marua, alias Diana B has shared her experience with her third pregnancy.

The content creator and her husband, musician Bahati are expecting their third child after welcoming their other children Heaven and Majesty Bahati in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

Unplanned pregnancy

Speaking in an interview with Mungai Eve, Marua disclosed that the pregnancy was unplanned, further disclosing that she was not on any birth control method.

She noted that they planned for their other children, but the current pregnancy came as a surprise for both of them.

“I keep on saying this pregnancy was not planned, we didn’t sit down and say were looking for another baby. For Heaven and Majesty, the pregnancy was planned but for this one things backfired

“Pull out and pray didn’t work, so it was a moment for me to accept that this is what has happened and when I am comfortable I can now share with the public,” Diana said.

Diana Marua reaction to the pregnancy

The content creator also disclosed how she reacted after learning that she was expecting her third born child.

Marua admitted that she was not ready for the pregnancy and she even experienced a mental breakdown over the pregnancy.

“I was not prepared and that is my honest truth. When I discovered I was pregnant I had a mental breakdown and I remember it was a period when I was somehow sick and all sorts of emotions running,” she added.

No more children

Diana added that she is done having children and appealed to her husband to consider vasectomy so as to avoid more children in the future.

Vasectomy works by stopping sperm getting into a man's semen; the tubes that carry sperm from a man's testicles to the penis are cut, blocked or sealed with heat.

This means that when a man ejaculates, the semen has no sperm in it and a woman's egg can't be fertilised.

"Bahati should go and do a vasectomy because at this point that is the only sacrifice he is supposed to do for me. I have given him three children, so it’s up to him to consider vasectomy because for me I’m not getting more children. It’s a wrap. I have five children already,” Diana stated.
