The Hammers, however, had their first win of the season on September 27, when they beat Wolves by 4 goals to nil at home.

West Ham followed their good form with a 3-nil win away at Leicester City on October 4.

The Hammers on October 18 played to a 3-3-draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a match which saw West Ham come from 3 goals down to pull a dramatic draw against Spurs.

Man City and West Ham last competed against each other on February 19, 2020, when City won by 2 goals to nil at the Etihad Stadium.

Before that -- on August 10, 2019 -- City beat West Ham, who were at home, by 5 goals to nil.
