Starehe Girls’ School was on Thursday morning (October 3) closed indefinitely.
The institution was closed after 52 students exhibited symptoms of a disease yet to be ascertained.
“… there has been an increasing number of cases presenting with an unknown cause of high-pitched cough, sneezing and low-grade fever amongst some of the students,” the school said in a press statement on Tuesday, October 1.
