An officer who allegedly stabbed a school bursar over a disagreement on his child's fees has been arrested.

The officer identified as Peter Mutuma is said to have taken a knife and stabbed the school bursar after he allegedly failed to honour his wishes.

Mutuma had asked the accounts controller to refund extra money paid for his son's school fees through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

A disagreement however ensued after the bursar told him that the extra amount could only be transferred to his college fees account.

Consequently, Mutuma stabbed the bursar leaving him nursing serious injuries. The bursar is currently receiving treatment at a nearby health facility.

Meanwhile, Mutuma is being held by the police pending arraignment in court.
