A 22-year-old man is being held at Kajiado Police Station for allegedly defiling a 4-year-old minor.
The man known to the minor is said to have lured the girl on Sunday evening while playing near her mothers grocery shop.
The man had been spotted talking to the girl but after a few minutes later, the girl was heard screaming behind her mothers grocery shop at Majengo.

To the shock of passersby, the man was caught pants down with the minor.
The angry mob surged in numbers baying for the man blood but police responded promptly rescuing the man.
Confirming the incident, Kajiado Central deputy subcounty police commander Joseph Mwitiria said the suspect is being held to allow further investigations into the incident and will be arraigned at the Kajiado law court tomorrow.
The minor has since been hospitalized at the Kajiado Referral Hospital for further medication and treatment.
