Jumwa to know fate of murder charges tomorrow

Public Service, Gender and Affirmative Cabinet Secretary (CS) Aisha Jumwa has announced the extension of Huduma centres working hours in eighteen centres within the next 100 days.

The centres targeted will operate on a shift basis from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm to enhance convenience in accessing services.

“In line with this, the ministry has commenced extending working hrs on a shift basis for the Huduma Contact Centre from 7 am to 9 pm,” Jumwa said. 

Jumwa who was speaking on Monday at the GPO Huduma Centre also announced that the government will add 100 huduma centres across the country to bring services closer to citizens. This will be an addition to the 52 huduma centres across 47 counties.

"We will launch the model sub-county Huduma Centre in partnership with National Government Constituency Development fund in preparation to set up Huduma centres across various sub counties," the CS added.

Further, Jumwa announced that the government had set plans to launch a training program on Huduma Kenya standards and Customer service excellence to enhance better customer experiences.
