Detectives from the Economic Crimes Unit were forced to jump over the fence to access former Cabinet Secretary (CS) Rashid Echesa's home after being locked out of the house for more than an hour.
The detectives camped outside Echesa's home on Monday morning but their patience grew thin as they waited outside for the gate to be opened.

After the detectives jumped over the fence, Echesa came out of the house and received them in the expansive compound.
The former Sports boss refused to let in the detectives, demanding first the presence of his lawyer, former Kiambu magistrate Brian Khaemba, before any search could be conducted at his posh home.
At the compound are several high-end vehicles but it is not clear if the cars will be carted away as part of the probe into the Sh39 billion fake military tender.
The sleuths are also said to be looking for documents to support the case against Echesa.
Last month, the former CS was charged with fraud-related offences in a Nairobi court alongside three others.
Echesa was charged with making a document without authority, obtaining money by false pretence, attempting to commit a felony and uttering a false document.
