The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has announced that 6,567,869 Kenyans have so far turned out to vote. The aforementioned number represents 30.65% of the total vote.

The process is currently ongoing in 12 countries namely Burundi, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, United Kingdom, Canada, USA, South Sudan, Qatar, UAE and Germany.

Kenyans in the aforesaid countries are voting from 6 am to 5 pm at their local time.
