List of over 10 Presidents currently in Kenya attending IDA21 Summit in Nairobi

At least 14 heads of State and Governments are currently in Nairobi, Kenya attending the opening session of the International Development Association (IDA21) Replenishment Summit.

The summit is hosted by President William Ruto and the World Bank President Ajay Banga.

The heads of State and Governments who attended the opening session of IDA21 in Nairobi on Monday, April 29, 2024, include;

1. President Yoweri Museveni - Uganda

2. President Samia Suluhu - Tanzania

3. President Évariste Ndayishimiye - Burundi

4. President Nana Akufo-Addo - Ghana

5. President Lazarus Chakwera - Malawi

6. President Julius Maada Bio - Sierra Leone

7. President Azali Assoumani - Comoros

8. President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani - Mauritania

9. President Faustin-Archange Touadéra - Central African Republic

10. President Andry Rajoelina - Madagascar

11. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud - Somalia

12. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali - Ethiopia

13. Prime Minister Amadou Oury Barh - Guinea

14. Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui - Algeria

Raila in attendance

Azimio leader Raila Odinga, who is seeking an Africa Union Commission (AUC) chairperson job, is among the leaders attending IDA21 Summit in Nairobi.

The gathering of African leaders in Nairobi provides an opportunity for Raila to ask for their support for his AUC bid.

President William Ruto has also been campaigning for Raila's AUC candidature.

Over the past weekend, Ruto secured Zimbabwe's support for Raila's AUC candidature.
