Roots party presidential running mate Justina Wamae has cast her vote in Machakos county.
Speaking after casting her vote, Wamae lauded the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for facilitating a smooth voting process.
"They (IEBC) are so organised, ques are moving fast. From where I sit IEBC is well prepared. I have spoken to my principal and he has told me he has experienced challenges (failure of KIEMS kit) twice." she stated.

While comparing the 2022 election to the 2017 election, Wamae affirmed that the challenges addressed by presidential candidate George Wajackoyah may have resulted due to technological hitches due to the difference in location.
