Bongo singer Zuchu announced she would not be performing in Nairobi and Eldoret just hours to her gigs which were slated for this weekend.

Zuchu was to perform at Ngong Racecourse in Nairobi on Saturday, December 10, 2022, and in Eldoret on Sunday, December 11.

However, the Bongo singer on Friday afternoon announced that she would not be performing in Eldoret and Nairobi as planned.

"My Kenyan fan-milly I am so saddened to announce that both shows in Nairobi and Eldoret have been postponed until further notice," Zuchu said in a post on social media.

"The good news is that the promoters Jabali entertainment will soon announce new dates," she added.

Zuchu promised that she will communicate how fans who had already bought tickets for her shows will get a refund.

"To the people who purchased for 10th and 11th your tickets will stay valid until the events' new date or else will be notified on how to collect your refund," Zuchu wrote.

"I am so sorry for the inconvenience trust me I pushed but it's beyond my control. I love you ❤️ until next time," she added.

Uncanny coincident

Zuchu's announcement about her shows being postponed comes barely a week after Rayvanny's show that was to be held in Kisumu was cancelled.

The Bongo singer was slated to perform in Kisumu on December 2, 2022, but unfortunately, the show was cancelled abruptly.

Rayvanny, through a post on social media, said that the show was cancelled due to issues with promoters and event organizers.

To all my lovely fans in #Kisumu due to promoters and Event organizers’ issues am so sorry to say that I won’t be able to perform in #Kisumu today I was ready for you but there is always next time love you all ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥,” Rayvanny wrote.

Ironically, both Rayvnny and Zuchu had disappointing shows in Houston, Texas, USA in November as only a handful of fans showed up for their gigs.
