Mugithi ace Samuel Muchoki known for his stage name Samidoh is seemingly shutting the door for a larger family.

Samidoh has declared he’s done having more children — after fathering five — because “he is tired.”

The Benga singer who continues to face societal pressure about the ideal number of children to sire was responding to a netizen who asked; "Tunaongeza mtoto lini?"

In his response, he said; "Nimechoka."

The celebrated singer shares three kids with his wife Edday Nderitu and two others with his baby mama UDA nominated senator Karen Nyamu.

Karen has sired a daughter and a son with the singer while Edday has two daughters and a son.

This would typically put them in a polygamous setup but while Karen insists that she has accepted her co-wife, Edday remains adamant that she would not be ready to raise her children in a polygamous family.

She said this during her fifteenth marriage anniversary with the artiste.

Samidoh daughters' birthday

This comes barely weeks after the singer's lastborn daughters turned one in March.

Karen Nyamu and Samidoh set tongues wagging as they were seen serving couple goals after stepping out in matching outfits donning jungle green caps, white t-shirts and combat trousers.

However, in a dramatic move, Karen Nyamu on Sunday, March 2, 2023, raised eyebrows as she decided to give her 'cowife' Edday Nderitu a crude run for posting her daughter's birthday photos stealing the moment.

Moments after Edday shared the birthday photos, Karen Nyamu rushed to her social media accounts and also posted past photos of her daughter's birthday, much to the amusement of many netizens.

She said she posted photos of her daughter's birthday 'due to public demand'.

"Ok due to public demand hehehe A good dad deserves many children🤗🤗 Happy birthday Neriah Muchoki🥰🥰," Karen Nyamu wrote.
