Martin Kasavuli, the son of the late renowned journalist Catherine Kasavuli, has recently introduced his daughter to the public.

Through his Instagram page, this single father introduced Kayla Kasavuli and expressed her aspiration to follow in the footsteps of her grandmother as a TV presenter.

Martin shared a moment from a family outing and emphasized the significance of cherishing connections with loved ones.

"Today when you’re surrounded by the people that light up! when they see you, make sure you capture that very moment. Because outside of the food and music and even the laughs, all we have is our connections with each other. I personally value that more than anything. A great connection is the highest form of appreciation," he wrote.

The devoted father also humorously recounted a recent date with his daughter, Kayla, during which she met someone intriguing with whom she shared that she wanted to be a TV presenter.

"Yesterday we went out on a date with @kaylakasavuli, and she met this kaboy lol she even forgot me 🤣🤗. Follow her account @kaylakasavuli; she wants to be a TV presenter and is thinking of doing nice hosting/reporting videos hehe," he jested.

Martin shares challenges of being a single father

In a separate post, Martin conveyed his profound love for his daughter, expressing his pride in her growth and intelligence.

He shared the challenges of being a single dad and highlighted the importance of recognizing his daughter as an individual to protect rather than an entity to control.

He also expressed his heartfelt desire for his late mother to be alive, so she could witness how remarkable and intelligent his daughter had grown up to be.

"Being a single dad, I’ve come so far in building the relationships I have with my daughter. It’s based on consistency and seeing her as a person to protect, rather than possessions to control. That’s a mindset I’ve adapted that has made me a better father. So I’ll keep showing up for her, and always acknowledging who 'she is' and never who I 'want' her to be. Because who she is at any given moment is good enough. Kayla, I love you ma, I wish nyanya was here to see how grown and intelligent you are becoming. Guys meet Kayla B Kasavuli," he shared.
