Actress Dorea Chege has reacted to claims that she bought the car which she said she was gifted by her boyfriend, DJ Dibul.
On Friday, August 5, the actress penned a lovely message on Instagram where she heaped praises on her boyfriend for the gift.

However, on Saturday, a car dealer posted on his Twitter account insinuating that the surprise was a hoax.
In the post, the dealer claims Dorea bought the vehicle herself and lied to fans that it was a gift from her new boyfriend.
“Huyu tumemwuzia gari akalipa na pesa yake alafu akaenda kusema boyfriend amemnunulia huko Instagram. Love is a beautiful thing guys,” the dealer wrote.
Following the claims, K24 Digital reached out to Dorea but she brushed it off, accusing the dealer of chasing clout with her name.
“Can you see it anymore? The guy just wanted to clout chase with my name he pulled it down,” she told this writer.

In an update on her Instagram page, the actress had shared an emotional message to her lover for the car gift.
She posted a photo of herself sitting atop a blue car covered with balloons while her lover poured champagne to celebrate the moment.
“Hey loves, I am more than excited writing this, I can't express my joy & appreciation I have for you babe DJ Dibul. Just a short story, so yesterday I was gifted 1 of my dream cars, I am out of words, it is one thing to be loved and another to have a partner who prioritizes you, supports you and appreciates you DJ Dibul
“I can't thank you enough, may God always make your cup overflow, my life took a beautiful turn since I met you,” Dorea captioned the photo.
On the other hand, DJ Dibul shared a post noting that she was happy the actress loved the gift.
“How overwhelming it was to see her reaction…I am glad she loved my gift. It is not how much we give but how much love we put into it. Dorea Chege you deserve this and more my love, you are one of a kind and I thank God for you. To many more surprises. Ma'Wendo,” he said.

The actress unveiled her new man by sharing a video dancing with him and at some point, exchanging kisses.
The two love birds were dancing along to a love song by Ruby dubbed 'Na Yule' perhaps to pass a message to their fans.
"Kuna muda ningemwomba Mola akulete mapema, wewe ndio unayejua maumivu yangu (Sometimes I wish God brought you earlier as you are the only one who knows my ordeals)" part of the song goes.
