Diana Bahati becomes first Kenyan female YouTuber to hit 1M subscribers

Content creator-cum-artiste Diana Marua Bahati has added a remarkable achievement to her name after surpassing one million subscribers on YouTube.

The mother of three now becomes the first Kenyan female YouTuber to hit this amazing monumental feat.

With a total of 699 videos, Diana’s channel is also among the most viewed channels and currently, she has amassed over 183 million views.

Taking to Instagram, Diana shared a message of gratitude that read; "Team Diana we did it 🥳🥳🥳 First female in Kenya to reach a million YouTube subscribers 😭🙏🏼 I’m still pinching myself! thank you for supporting my journey since day 1❤️ I love you all 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 #goddid🙏🏼."

Throughout the content creation journey, Diana Bahati has shared her deep secrets, controversial life events and family matters before venturing into music.

Among her biggest moments were the documented births of her kids, her breakout songs and her recent engagement and gifting sprees among others.

Her new milestone gives new credence to her influence among Kenyan creators and the entire entertainment industry.

Marua started her rise to social media superstardom in August 2019 when she joined YouTube as a lifestyle content creator before shifting to being an artiste in November 2021.

Diana Bahati eyes African content queen fete

Notably, the one million fete has been long-coming since Marua hit 900K subscribers in July 2023.

At the time, Marua said she was now eying to become Africa's female content queen.
