Mugithi star Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh's manager Moses Marite has recalled their first sold-out show where he says the singer broke into tears.

Marite admitted that the singer was left overawed and overwhelmed by the magnificent standing ovation he received from fans during his first famous Mugithi show dubbed 'Ndumo ya Samidoh'.

The manager who first met the artiste in High School says during the show at a Thika road restaurant he was roared onto the stage by a crowd, in what was a spine-tingling reception.

This, he said while appearing for an interview with Jeff Kuria.

"Samidoh's vernacular brand started picking after his homecoming show in Nyandarua. Later we did another event dubbed Ndumo ya Samidoh season one at Dragon Grill in Githurai 44 and the show sold out completely. This day I can recall he cried after seeing the number of fans who had turned up for the show," Marite recalled.

After the event, he performed during Koroga festival which became the talk of the town before embarking on his USA tour.

The manager says, all these performances gave him exposure to large crowds and prepared him for the future we are experiencing now.

Currently, the singer is in the US for his tour and later as revealed by the manager he will begin his UK and Qatar tours.

Meanwhile, Samidoh has recovered his Youtube channel which had been hacked.

In an update, he wrote;

"It was a sweaty week wah! But the channel is back. Glory to the lord almighty. Enemies of my progress are defeated."

US tour drama

This week, Karen Nyamu re-embarrassed Samidoh with an online feud with his USA tour promoter Bernice Saroni stirring up the 'goat wife' conversation yet again.

For those trying (and failing) to keep score, this was not the first time - far from it- that Karen and Samidoh have joined the trend list over their relationship.

Despite the fact that the beef has been pronounced fake, opinions were still formed and, well… most tried to speculate on and Karen joined in the chaos.

Fake beef

While netizens were getting a hold of the beef, Karen in a plot twist claimed that the beef was fake with proof to simmer down the backlash. This was after she had declared that the singer was worth fighting for.

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Nominated Senator admitted she was not embroiled in any fight with Bernice over Samidoh while engaging her fans in an interactive Questions and Answers (Q&A) session on Instagram.

Why are you guys fighting for Samidoh? Is he nice in everything? Mmmmmmmh,” a fan asked Nyamu.

To which she replied;

“Hahaha don’t get fooled. There’s no fight like that and there will never be.”
