Bodaboda rider who knocked down Pangani OCS during curfew hours charged

Patrick Anasta Orassa, a motor cycle rider who knocked down Pangani OCS during curfew hours has been charged before Milimani Law Courts.

Appearing before Magistrate Esther Kimilu on Tuesday, 20 April, Patrick was charged with driving without due care and attention contrary to the traffic act.

The court was told that on April, 18 at about 20:40hrs along Dr Grffin Road at Pangani traffic lights, Patrick failed to stop at the road block mounted

In the road after being instructed to do so and knocked down C.I Samir Yunus the OCS Pangani causing him slight injuries.

The accused is also charged with driving without a licence contrary to the law.

He faces a third count of failing to carry a driving licence contrary to the traffic act law.

Patrick pleaded not guilty and was granted a cash bail of Sh50,000.
