Former Harambee Stars coach Sebastian Migne will pocket about Sh45 million from Football Kenya Federation (FKF) as compensation package as agreed by the two parties.
FKF yesterday revealed the terms of the mutual agreement they had with the French coach, before they terminated his contract last week due to a spate of poor results by the national team.
The federation appointed Migne on May 3, 2018 and contracted him to be in charge of the national team until June 30, 2021, but decided to prematurely end his tenure after Stars were knocked out of the Africa Championships preliminary qualifiers by neighbours Tanzania. He had just served barely half of his three-year contract.

“We want to avoid litigations that I believe may affect the running of football in the country. We have shared the contracts on how the immediate coach is to be paid by the Ministry of Sports,” FKF boss Nick Mwendwa told People Sport.
He added: “ I will not reveal how much the coach will be paid in installments, but we hope the entire amount will be paid in the next year and half. He was to be paid a total of Sh55 million but we negotiated to Sh45 million.”
Mwendwa’s remarks come after Migne in an interview with People Sport last week said he will be returning on August 29 and settle in the country with the hope of getting his pay from the federation.
