A Nairobi court has given Kenya's 'spy queen' Jane Mugo the last warning for failing to appear for the hearing of a case in which she is charged with threatening to kill a man.

Mugo's lawyer, Danstan Omari, told the court that the accused is unwell, therefore, she could not appear for the hearing of her case.

Omari requested the magistrate to adjourn the matter.

But the state prosecutor Anderson Gikunda asked the court to issue a warrant of arrest against the private eye, saying that she has no documentation to prove that she is sick.

Nairobi Chief Magistrate Martha gave the suspect the last warning, saying she finds it difficult to allow an application for adjournment without documentation.

Mugo is facing one count for allegedly threatening to kill Deepa Shah, an offense she allegedly committed at Kyuna Close in Spring Valley, Nairobi on February 4, 2019.

She allegedly brandished a pistol and threatened to kill Shah.

Mugo is out on bond.
