Bonfire co-director Sarah Kabu has taken an issue with comedian Eric Omondi for allegedly neglecting his child with Jacque Maribe.
Taking to her social media page, Sarah told Omondi to take up his responsibilities as a father and pay for his son's school fees and upkeep.
Her statement comes a day after Omondi's baby mama accused him of neglecting his son. Maribe claimed that the comedian has not been in their son's life for the last seven years.
Maribe said that Omondi doesn't pay for their son's school fees nor does he provide money for food to the minor.
Responding to Maribe's claims, Sarah said that it was unfortunate that the funnyman was not providing for their son yet he gets good money from his comedy career.
"@ericomondi you are my good friend and am also ur greatest fan too! but not paying school fees and upkeep for your child and making fun of it live on camera isn't funny at all," Sarah said.
"Am heartbroken for Jackie please man up now and take responsibility as I know u make good money with ur comedy. We are living in hard times bana."
On his part, Omondi denied claims that he is not a responsible father to their child.
Speaking at an interview with Eve Mungai, Eric said that he has been in his son's life and has been in communication with him. He said that he even bought for the seven-year-old son a phone so that they can constantly communicate.
"We talk about the baby all the time when you call... I bought him (the son) a phone, a sim card so that we can communicate," Omondi said.
