Warrant of arrest issued against Nyali MP Mohamed Ali

A court in Kwale has issued warrant of arrest against Nyali MP Mohamed Ali for failing to appear in court.

According to a court letter seen by K24 Digital, Ali had stood as a surety for Nordin Hassan Abdallah alias Kamanda, a terror suspect who jumped bail after being charged with the offense of being in possession of radicalization articles vide case number.

Noordin was arrested in 2019 at Shimoni in Kwale while conducting recruitment and radicalization of local youths into IS and was later released on bond.

The suspect is an associate of Salim Rashid Mohamed alias Chotara alias Turki, an IS operative who was filmed in June 2021 conducting beheading in Democratic Republic of Congo.
