Former President William Ruto on Friday, October 14, 2022, appointed former Principal Secretary (PS)secretary Kamau Thugge as the senior advisor and Head of Fiscal Affairs and Budget policy.

In the appointments announced through outgoing Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua, economist David Ndii was promoted to the chairperson of the President's Council of Economic Advisors.

Felix Koskei was appointed as the Chief of staff and the Head of Public Service while Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok was appointed as his deputy chief of staff.

The position of Senior Advisor and Head of Economic Transformation and Secretariat was given to Augustine Cheruiyot while Nancy Laibuni was appointed as an associate member of the president's council of Economic advisors.

David Mugonyi, who previously served as Ruto's communications director at the Office of the Deputy President was appointed as head of the presidential communication service while Katoo Ole Mitito was appointed as the statehouse comptroller.

Former Citizen TV anchor Hussein Mohammed was appointed as statehouse spokesperson.
