Deputy President William Ruto was on Wednesday forced to turn to Luo language to calm down a supporter in Migori.

While addressing residents of Ranen, Migori county Ruto had a difficult time addressing the residents who turned out to welcome him.

Some of the residents would not hide their joy to welcome the country's second in command in the area. In that regard, some of them did everything possible to get the DP's attention.

One of those residents that caught DP Ruto's eye was a young man who opted to be carried in the air while in a wheelbarrow.

On seeing the man who seemed unstable in the wheelbarrow, Ruto decided to calm and urge him to climb down.

"Oya mos mos. Pole Pole (just take it easy," Ruto told the man amid laughter from the crowd.

Soon after calming the unidentified youth, Ruto offered him some cash before he resorting to calm down and listen to him speak.

The incident happened at a time when Ruto has been on a three-day tour selling his Bottom-Up economic model in the Luo Nyanza Counties - Migori, Homa/Bay and Kisumu.
