Kenya Power has announced a temporary blackout scheduled for Monday, March 25, 2024.
In a statement on Sunday, March 24, the utility company disclosed that the blackout is part of routine maintenance activities.

According to the announcement, Nairobi County will witness interruptions in specific areas, including Riara Road and parts of Marula Lane.
The affected areas are expected to experience power outages from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Customers residing along Oloitoktok Road, Mararo Avenue, Argwings Kodhek, among others, are advised to brace themselves for the interruption. Quickmart Lavington and Kenya Science will also be affected.
Furthermore, some areas along Marula Lane and its environs, including Ololua Ridge and KEPHIS, will also experience power interruptions during the same timeframe.
In Nyamira County, the areas slated for power interruption include Magombo, Omogonchoro, and Muturumesi, among others.
Residents in these areas, including Tombe Technical Training Institute and Nyambaria Secondary School, are advised to expect power outages from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
