Former Nairobi Diaries actress Dorah Ojenge was on Thursday, June 2, 2022, charged with obtaining credit by false pretence after allegedly refusing to pay a Ksh152,550 bill at a Nairobi club.

Ojenge, popularly known as Mishi Dorah, is said to have spent the night of Thursday, May 26 and the morning of Friday, May 27 at Golden Ice Bistro at Nextgen Mall in South C.
She ordered two chicken breasts valued at Ksh3,000 one cocktail costing Ksh2,000 and two bottles of coke 300ml valued at Ksh5,050.
The actress was also served with one litre of Keringet water valued at Ksh400, three Redbull drinks (Ksh1,650), six Bellaire Luxe 750ml (Ksh75,000) and seven Hennessey VS 750m1 worth Ksh70,000 which she enjoyed with friends.
Apparently, when she was asked to pay the bill, the beauty told the attendants that she was experiencing problems with her bank account.
She requested to be accompanied to get the money from her house but still couldn't raise the cash forcing the management to report her to the police.
Dorah denied the charges at the Kibera Law Courts.
The presiding magistrate released the accused person on a Ksh100,000 bond with an alternative cash bail of Ksh50,000.
The matter will be mentioned on June 27, 2022.
