At least two counties will be affected by a power blackout on Saturday, December 2, 2023, Kenya Power has said.
In a notice, the utility firm said the scheduled outage in Nairobi and Kiambu counties is part of routine maintenance and lasts from 9 am to 5 pm.
"Good Evening. The listed areas will be affected by planned power interruptions tomorrow (2nd Dec 2023). For the advance notice, use http://bit.ly/31u4jY4," Kenya Power wrote.
In Nairobi, the affected area includes part of Busia Road - Unifilters, Midland Autocare Garage, City Engineering and Elegance Designers and Printers Limited and adjacent customers.
In Kiambu, the main areas scheduled for power outages are Toll and GSU.
Other areas that will be affected include - Kwa Kairo, Kimbo Stage, Monapark, Mulery, Zabibu, Wankan, Toll, NIBS, Spur Mall, GSU, parts of Mugutha, Ebenezar, Avocado, Sahara, Ruiru KU Campus, Courtesy Beach and adjacent customers.
