Lamu West Member of Parliament Stanley Muiruri Muthama was arrested Thursday night on suspicion of fraud.
Muthama was apprehended by DCI detectives at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
Police say the lawmaker will be arraigned at an Eldoret court on Friday, June 28, 2019.
