It's no secret that there is never a dull moment on social media, especially, in Kenya where netizens turn even the saddest of moments into funny memes.
With the current high cost of living, many Kenyans have been taking their frustrations online and sometimes using memes to mock the government of the day.
In a classic case, Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) was recently forced to respond after Kenyans thronged their social media pages inquiring about the price of a kidney.

KNH turns down Kenyans' requests
The government-owned hospital was, however, quick to turn down the requests by Kenyans, insisting that it's illegal to trade body organs in the country.
"Please note that organ sale is strictly prohibited and illegal. You can only donate out of free will," the management added.

A kidney transplant is often recommended for people suffering from kidney failure.
The response from the hospital has sparked even more debate on social media about organ donation. Here are some of the reactions:
"Earth is hard, cost of living has skyrocketed prices of basic items have gone through the roof," said George Randu.
Another tweep said: "We do donate blood for free but you sell it very expensive to those who urgently need it. so @KNH_hospital don't fool us."
"The mullah (money) is kinda more important than most organs. How much for my liver? 😂 @dnb_ffs posed.
