Kakamega senator Boniface Khalwale on Sunday afternoon mourned his nephew who lost his life in a road accident on Federal Way, United States.
Taking to his official social media accounts, the senator noted that the deceased, Yul Brian Khalwale Ashiono, was his late brother's son.
He also stated that friends and relatives would be meeting to mourn the sudden loss.
"Saddened to mourn Yul Brian Khalwale Ashiono, 37, son of my late bro Capt. Gaeb Ashiono Khalwale, who died in a road accident on Federal Way in the USA. Friends & relatives are meeting under the efforts of Joe Mwangi, Stella Maritim, Mary Bwire & North West Community as we mourn," Khalwale said.

Authorities, who found the remains of the deceased on the passenger seat of the vehicle, stated that preliminary investigations did not disclose the cause of the fire.
They additionally highlighted that the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident were unclear.
