JSC announces 91 vacancies

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has announced 91 vacancies.

The vacancies range from law clerks, legal researchers, members of the Legal Education Appeals Tribunal and the chairperson of the Legal Education Appeals Tribunal.

"The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 171 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 to promote and facilitate the independence and accountability of the Judiciary and the efficient, effective, and transparent administration of justice. The Judicial Service Commission invites applications from qualified persons for the underlisted positions," JSC stated.

JSC is seeking to recruit the chairperson of the Legal Education Appeals Tribunal, four members of the Legal Education Appeals Tribunal, six law clerks and 80 legal researchers.

Interested and qualified persons have been asked to visit the JSC portal for detailed job descriptions, requirements for appointment and instructions on how to apply.

All applications should reach the commission on or before A17, 2024 at 5.00 pm.

"Only shortlisted and successful candidates will be contacted. Canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification. 1,500 KWS vacancies

This comes days after the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) announced plans to recruit 1,500 assistant warders and rangers.

In a notice on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, KWS announced 150 vacancies for the position of cadets (assistant warder I) and 1,350 openings for the position of rangers.

"The Service operates in remote environment and seeks to recruit 1,500 young and dynamic individuals as cadets (Assistant Warden I) - 150 and Rangers - 1,350 who can endure the condition for training and deployment to various conservation areas in response to the wildlife protection challenges currently being experienced in the country," KWS said.

2,000 PSC vacancies

Earlier this month, the Public Service Commission (PSC) announced 2,000 job vacancies in the Ministry of Education - State Department for Vocational and Training.

In a notice on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, PSC notified qualified and interested Kenyans to submit applications for the available jobs.

Applicants were invited from qualified Degrees, Higher National Diploma (HND) and Diploma Holders for the positions of Vocational and Technical Trainers available in the various Technical, Vocational Education and Training Institutions.

Interested and qualified persons are requested to submit their applications directly to the institutions where vacancies exist by filling out ONE (1) PSC 2 (Revised 2016) application form and attach copies of their National ID card, academic and professional certificates, transcripts and any other testimonials.
