Joho crowned Africa’s business-friendly governor

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has been named Africa's Business Friendly Governor of the Year by the African Leadership Magazine.

Joho bagged the award alongside the Governor of Delta State in Nigeria, Ifeanyi Okowa.

The winners of the coveted awards are set to pick their prizes in London, UK on July 4, 2022, at the House of Lords.

The African Leadership Magazine announced that the awards will be presented to the political and corporate leaders during the 7th Africa Summit – London 2022.

“All winners and their runners-up shall be presented with an award trophy and formally decorated with the instruments of the honour at the 7th Africa Summit – London 2022, which is scheduled to hold at the House of Lords of the United Kingdom on July 4,” the magazine stated in the announcement.

The magazine stated that the award winners were selected through an online voting process.

The African Business Leadership Awards is a prestigious event to reward exceptional corporate practices and outstanding achievers in Africa’s business landscape and private sector.
