Dancing chief Migun lands new role with Huduma Centre

John Ogilo Migun popularly known as the dancing chief from Kisumu has landed a new role with Huduma Centre.

Migun has been selected to work as a marketer for Huduma Kenya services.

In a video seen by K24 Digital, Migun is seen dressed in Huduma centre branded attire dancing in ecstasy as he sensitised the youth on the services offered at the Huduma centre.

Sasa watu nguyaz, mabazuu na mayutman, services sasa ni saa moja asubuhi hadi saa moja jioni. Unatoka job, colle, ama works zako zingine unaingia Huduma center, na baada ya hiyo saa majo unaenda kutulia," he stated.

This loosely translates to:

"Greetings my people and the youth, you can now access services here from 7 am until 7 pm. You can leave your workplace, college or any other engagements and you come directly to our Huduma centres, and after that, you go and chill,”

Migun hit the headlines after a video of him dancing to the famous 'Kunakuna' song by Fathermore, Brandy Maina and Savara surfaced.

In an interview with a local publication, Migun said he was the assistant chief of the Nothern Sub-location in Kisumu Central.

He opined that the viral video which sent netizens into a frenzy was recorded in a local bar where he was having a late lunch with his colleagues after a patrol. He says, he was also on a mission for an undercover investigation on drug abuse.

Migun further stated that the video has helped enlarge his outreach to residents and made him more acceptable among youths as most locals do not fear him anymore.

It has also helped him access information intelligence reports easily.

"My video was taken after patrol. We were having lunch na pia tulikua tunafanya bambo ya under cover on drugs. Alafu wimbo ninaoupenda ukacheza. Someone recorded a video na sikutarajia itatrend,"

"Video imenisaidia ikilingana na mambo ya youth, inasidia ku-interact na youth. Nimeona nafahamika sana."

Terming the video as God's plan, Migun added that he is passionate about his job and will continue to serve the people of Kisumu.
