Coronavirus patient in Kenya recovers as cases soar to 28

President Uhuru Kenyatta has announced that one of the 28 coronavirus patients in Kenya has fully recovered from the disease.

Addressing the nation from State House, Nairobi the Head of State said three new COVID-19 cases were registered in the country Wednesday, adding to the 25 cases confirmed on Tuesday, March 24.

“Today we have received a confirmation of additional three cases, bringing our total tally to 28 cases. Numerous other suspected cases have been found to be negative after rigorous tests. Today (Wednesday, March 25) we have registered the first patient who has fully recovered from this virus. This is a clear indication that we can and we will defeat this virus,” said President Kenyatta.
