Emabakasi MP Babu Owino has mourned the death of Mary Hongo, the mother of Felix Orinda popularly known as DJ Evolve.
Taking to his Facebook page, Babu eulogised Mary who died on Thursday, September 23 as a mother figure and friend.
"Mum you were a mother to me and a friend. We were united through a difficult situation, we had grown so close but God has his own reasons why this had to happen," Babu said.

According to the family, DJ Evolve's mother passed on after experiencing breathing problems.
Babu further comforted DJ Evolve who collapsed when news of his mother's death got to him.
"To my friend Felix and your family, I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through. May God grant you peace, strength and comfort to go through this difficult moment in your lives," Babu said.
Confirming Mary's death, her husband John Orinda said she collapsed at their home in Lucky Summer Estate, Nairobi County adding that efforts to rush her to hospital with the aim of saving her life did not bear any fruits.
“I was not at home at the time when the incident took place. Everything happened so fast but we have it to God,” he said.
Mary has left behind her husband and two children.
