Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino is evidently not a happy man after his Suna East counterpart Junet Mohamed allegedly snubbed him during Raila Odinga's Azimio la Umoja event on Friday.

Babu has accused Junet of deliberately failing to recognize him as one of the members of parliament who were at the mega rally.

At the rally, Junet welcomed the rally's organizers, senators and other dignitaries present but skipped Babu despite his (Babu's) effort to get up to be noticed.

Junet only sarcastically told Babu he had seen him and that he should sit down. His actions did not, however, sit well with Babu and his supporters.

During the introduction, "Babu! Babu! Babu!" chants filled the air as Babu's supporters demanded Babu to be recognised.

Reacting to the incident, Babu noted that though Junet refused to acknowledge his presence, "God introduced him" at the occasion.

"MP Junet in his wisdom or lack of the same refused to introduce me today but God introduced me," Babu said.

Following the incident, Orange Democratic Movement, a party both MPs belong to, or Junet himself is yet to give a statement on why he snubbed Babu at the occasion.
