An Administration Police officer based in Kisumu County has been charged with sodomizing a 15-year-old boy.
The suspect, Nelson Cheruiyot, was charged with two counts, sodomizing a teenage boy and committing an indecent act with a child.
The prosecution told the court that the suspect defiled the minor on the night of December 25 and 26, at the Shauri Moyo Administration Police Line in Kisumu Central.

Appearing before Senior Resident Magistrate Fatuma Rashid at the Winam Court in Kisumu on Tuesday, December 29, the suspect denied the charges and was released on Sh200,000 bond.
The magistrate set January 4 for the case hearing and January 21 for the mention.
