How to access 2023 KCSE results

Kenya National Examinations Council has announced that the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) will be accessed online and not on Short Message Service as it has been in the past.

In a statement, the National examination body said the results will be accessed via a link on their website or through a URL link where the candidate will have to fill in their index number and names as they were registered.

How to access KCSE results

"Individual 2023 KCSE candidates' examination results will be accessed online through a link on the KNEC website or directly through the URL: results.knec.ac.ke," a statement from KNEC read in part. 

"You will be required to enter the candidate's index number and the name (s) as per the registration data for the 2023 KCSE examination," the statement concluded.

In his speech, Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu said the results will be dispatched to the sub-county education offices with the students expected to collect their provisional results in their respective exam centres.

"The Council will dispatch the 2023 KCSE Examination results to Sub County Education Offices for distribution to examination centres within their regions. Candidates are urged to collect the
provisional results from their respective examination centres," Machogu said in his speech

"The results will be available online immediately after this exercise (announcing)," Machogu concluded.
