Zari Hassan has taken a second stab at marriage after she wedded her younger sweetheart Shakib Cham Lutaaya in a private ceremony.
The two lovers got married in a low-key very simple Muslim wedding that was held in a house.
Videos doing rounds on social media show Zari and Shakib exchanging vows while kneeling on the floor as they were surrounded by only a handful of people.

Shakib's parents
The wedding comes after Zari in December last year disclosed that she visited Shakib's parents.
The mother of five while speaking during an interview with Galaxy FM disclosed that she had already met Shakib's parents and that they had no problem whatsoever with their son marrying a woman who is 12 years older than him.
"I have met his parent. He took me to meet his parents and they were so nice. They don't have any problem with it," Zari said.
Age difference
Speaking during the same interview with Galaxy FM, Zari Hassan, who is 12 years older than her lover Shakib Cham Lutaaya, dismissed critics castigating her over the age gap.
She stressed that Shakib was not a child the way critics had always portrayed it.
The 42-year-old mother of five further revealed that her boyfriend was 30.
"You can't tell me 42 and 30… Shakib is not a child. He is 30. For me honestly speaking he is not a child. He's been above 18 a long time ago," Zari said.
Somebody's husband
Last year, a woman identified as Shamirah Nalule Sembatya alias Mimi, a Ugandan lady based in the US, accused Zari of eloping with her 'husband' Shakib.
While placing a document supporting her claim, Mimi said she has been legally married to Shakib since June 2016 and that they had not divorced.
Mimi further claimed that after they got married she processed Shakib’s visa and flew him to the US a year later in 2017.
Shakib reportedly started sneaking from his marriage to be with Zari in early 2022, before fully relocating to South Africa to be with the mother of five.
Mimi says she suspects Shakib left their marriage because Zari is more famous and richer than her.
