Vera Sidika came under scathing attack after she gave viewers a room tour of her daughter's magnificent sleeping paradise.
The mother of two shared a video that captured the flair and flamboyance of Asia Brown's bedroom to the very detail.
Vera caused lots of brouhaha after she claimed that she spent a whopping Ksh548,000 on a bed that was seen in her daughter's bedroom.
The socialite alleged that she imported the babycot from the United Kingdom (UK).
Reacting to doubting Thomases, Vera gave a breakdown of the costs totalling to Ksh548,000.
"Y'all too dramatic in comments. Bed: £1770. Shipping: £1226. Total: £3000. That's Ksh548,000. Of course, the bed can't grow wings and fly itself to Kenya," she wrote.
"My daughter's room been sleek for way too long since last year. It's even on TV. Her babycot arrived in January 2022. Fully paid. Just didn't have time to record and reveal," she added.
Vera Sidika further lamented people thought she had gone broke just because she stopped showing off her wealth on social media.
"Some small minds always looking for excuses. Been living good even when I was off social media. Watching y'all call me names as I sip my champagne. Just cause I don't show my mansion doesn't mean I'm suffering. But realized y'all like it when I show off. So Imma do just that. When I stay quiet and enjoy my wealth in peace y'all claim suffering. Oh she can't even afford to travel. Oh she broke oh she's homeless. But u know I enjoy showing off. Was just protecting y'all from getting high blood pressure. But it's on. So let's go!!!" She wrote.
Vera Sidika on March 9, 2022, caused a stir on social media after she announced that she had imported a Ksh300,000 bed for her daughter Asia Brown.
The socialite wanted her daughter to sleep on her own bed as she was turning 6 months. She gave birth to baby Asia on October 20, 2021.
“Can’t wait to unveil Asia’s nursery. At 6 months magical. Damn. Girl be sleeping on a bed worth Ksh300,000 from UK. How I wish I had this life as a newborn. Kweli it’s true, we work hard to give our kids what we never had. Aki God bless all mothers doing the best for their babies,” Vera Sidika wrote.
Ksh1 million bed
Vera Sidika prefers the finer things in life and as such, she blows millions of shillings buying simple things at exorbitant prices - like the Ksh1 million bed she imported into the country.
The bootyful socialite stunned her fans on March 23, 2015, when she took to social media to show off her expensive bed.
Vera posted a luxury bed on her Instagram page which she said she bought for $11,500 or Ksh1,046,500 as per the 2015 dollar/shilling exchange rate.
“My motto; To simply wake up every morning a better person than when I went to bed. My Girls still can’t get over the fact that I got this bed for 11,500$. Oh well, they don’t understand the feeling,” she wrote.
