Musician Stephen Otieno alias Stevo Simple Boy is not ready to tell the story, but there is a story to tell.
On Monday, December 18, 2023, the 'Mihadarati' hitmaker shared a cryptic message via his official Instagram page amid rumours that his marriage had hit the rocks.
In the post shared, Stevo without giving further details shared a photo of a sad, crying emoji with heartbreak emojis surrounding it and captioned it; "VICHUNA !!!!!!!!!!!ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Eeeeeish."
The singer shared the message shortly after reports emerged that his wife, Grace Atieno, was carrying another man's seed.
In the reports that have since sparked debate online, trouble hit paradise and the singer has been depressed ever since he found out,
"Stevo is depressed. He has been thinking about what to do. He felt bad after he realized his wife was expecting a child with another man," a source believed to be close to the couple stated.
The report further alleged that the singer confirmed the rumours after he denied his wife's pregnancy claiming that they had not been together for a while.
On her part, Grace is said to have refrained from addressing the matter but instead admitted that her relationship with the 'Freshi Barida' crooner is not as it used to be. She, however, promised to clarify things early next year.
The two lovebirds have been married for a while but Stevo introduced her to the public in January this year. At the time, the artiste was attending his father's funeral in Homa Bay County.
"Bwana asifiwe? Mi ni Stephen Otieno mimi ni kitinda mimba was Antony Adera na huyu ndo make wangu," he told mourners at the time.
To which Grace, responded later stating that she had been married to the musician for a while.
"Bwana asifiwe? Asifiwe tena? Kwa majina naitwa Grace Atieno nimeletwa kwa hii boma na Stephen Otieno. Naskia vibaya kumpoteza mtu mwenye alikua anashinda akiniita all the time," she stated.
