Renowned entertainer DJ Pierra Makena known for keeping things on the hush-hush about her private life, recently revealed that her baby daddy got married to another woman while she was just five months pregnant for him.
In an interview with Eve Mungai, the mother of one recalled that after learning that she was pregnant, he vanished only to learn that he got married five months after their breakup.
"We were good together, but after we split and I found out I was pregnant, he disappeared. He wasn't rude or mean about it, but five months later, he was saying 'I do' to someone else. It was incredibly painful. I didn't think I could get past it, but I did. Life goes on," Pierra shared.
She also explained that was not one to resort to legal action for child support noting that she would never take a man to court so he can act right by his child.
"I'd never take a guy to court. It just doesn't sit right with me. I don't want to force a man to pay. I believe it's essential for the father to be there emotionally, to hug the baby, to be part of their life."
Pierra tried reconciling with baby daddy
Pierra also shared attempted efforts to let her baby daddy be a part of his daughter's life but shortly discovered his intentions were not sincere.
Despite being her father, Pierra vowed not to let him play with her daughter's emotions.
"We talked, and he admitted he hadn't been a good parent and wanted to be in our child's life. I agreed, but later, I realized his intentions weren't pure. It felt like he was trying to achieve something at that time," she explained.
"He's the father of the child, and things will never change, but unless he changes and is ready to be a father, right now I don't want my daughter's emotions to be played with," she said.
The entertainer also cleared misconceptions about the father of her child noting that when they were dating he wasn't a married man as many claimed.
"Contrary to what people may think, he was never married. I'm not that kind of person. There are many speculations about my baby daddy, but I don't talk about him on social media. Firstly, because he is married, and secondly, he's not involved in our lives," Pierra clarified.
